DIY wooden necklace

Hello guys!

Here is an idea for a little weekend crafting with your kids...

This project was a great fun ... I did it with my daughter who is becoming more and more aware of the the necessity to choose the right clothes for each occasion and the accessories are becoming more and more important for her.

As she had several pieces of clothes in the same colors, she needed also the accessories in those colors. So we spent one Saturday afternoon painting and beading to make a new necklace for both of us.

We used the big wooden beads that we painted first with the acrylic paint. Then we strung them on yarn doing a knot after each bead. Finally I attached the closure. Voila, it´s done.
